I need someone to translate this to me in non-complicated weather terms. We talkin snowmageddon? Tornados? 90 degree weather or torrential rain?
GFS run through Jan 10th looks hilariously exaggerated but since Weatherunderground already has 6” for Jan 8th, I’m just gonna go ahead and get my hype train going early. LETS FREAKING GOOOO.
Saw some crazy models showing up to 13 inches around January 8-10. Would be intense, but I imagine it’ll be 40 and sunny.
Hopefully we get cold and snow so the people complaining about the warm winter will maybe stop complaining.

I don't mind the cold to mix it up but give me 30s/20s vs. below zero.
Agreed. That's generally my hope for most winters. I can deal with snow, but i want to avoid the week or two where the temps go subzero (especially subzero highs)

Every day above freezing is a win in my book. I always feel like we're on the downward side when we get past January (and spring seems to still take forever to come anyway).
