3 pts coming off another loss to Michigan is not going to sit well with their spoiled brats of a fan base.

IF Day comes back next year, they have a rough schedule and a seemingly not great QB. The only way he comes back is to be the sacrificial lamb to endure the fans when they go 8-4.

Ok…I know Ohio State is not at full strength, but that has nothing to do with Missouri being a top 10, 10-2 team. Why do people think Oklahoma is going to be humbled in the SEC, again?
Depends on what kind of schedule they get.

Missouri had a good year, but also beat 5 teams from the East and had Arkansas as one of their crossover games. If you are good that schedule will get you to 6-2 easily.

Similar to NU to a degree, I’d sell OU regardless. They’re coming off a great run, and living off last century imo. NU didn’t fall off because the BIG West is difficult

OU can have great seasons anywhere. Nearly every school can

What will change is ability to always have great seasons and quickly recover when things get off track. They don’t have the recruiting and budget cushion anymore

What makes OU, OU, is being elite. Tops in the conference. Add 1-2 loses every year, or a missed hire in which they have a few losing seasons, and they’re Ok St

Yeah that was tough. Don’t listen to all those people losing their minds though, no one is going to remember the rushing yards, plus just looking at the score it doesn’t jump out to people as some crazy beat down, the team fought all 4 quarters at least and it was 36-26, super ****** but far from the end of the world
Everyone’s disappointed. It’s only the usual suspects who are losing their mind. They only surface when our football team loses, then they return to the sludge from whence they came.

I know everyone says SEC props up itself up due to an 8-game conference schedule, which is true. But they earn the respect because their top teams win national championships. OSU, which is probably the most elite team outside of the SEC, is 1-13 against SEC opponents in the last 14 games.

That reminds me of Notre Dame today - Hartman opts out; the Irish already have the Duke transfer QB lined up to start next year; so they turn to a 2nd stringer in the bowl, saying ”we just need you for this one game, kid, then it’s back to the clipboard for 2024.“ Gotta be rough.

He played really well too. He's only a redshirt freshman. But Notre Dame has a stud true freshman and CJ Carr coming in on top of Riley Leonard. He'll have a decision to make for sure. A lot of P5 schools would take Angelli in a heartbeat.

This is just as much a "the big 10 is overrated" thing honestly

Penn State being the #1 defense in the nation appears to be completely based on their schedule. They’re a good defense, but no where near the top. Mississippi apparently is harder to stop than Iowa and Michigan State.
Uhhh, no duh?

Penn state also has two NFL DB’s not playing and their top DE who is going to the NFL. Ole miss isn’t really missing anyone on offense and they were ranked 11th
