We rushed the ball 20 times for zero yards. The fact that we kept trying to
Run the ball should get at least one coach fired. That’s total ********. If u can’t realize it’s not working and reorganize then u should lose your job. Ridiculous. Sick of nonsense. I can handle losing but losing like this to a non p5 school is ridiculous and embarrassing. Campbell should be ashamed of this game
8 were Becht and not all designed runs.

I get what you're saying, but the ISU fanbase doesn't have the cash for football. We suck at football. We are who we are. We're not getting kicked out of the Big 12 because of that however. So why waste so much money on football?

Hopefully the college football world will come to their senses and force the NCAA and/or conferences to pay the players. Not the fans. Put a salary cap in place and really crack down on "outside" money.

Is that ever going to happen? Fu$k no. The college football world is too stupid and greedy.

If we want to spend our hard earned money on spoiled athletes, it might as well be basketball. At least we would have a chance.
I don't think we suck at football. Historically sure but under Campbell, no.

Just a general question, are you donating significantly to basketball then? You can direct we will to certainly do that.

Look at all the NFL talent he has had and hasn’t been able to put together a good year outside of 2020 COVID. Purdy arguable regressed during his four years in Ames. We haven’t had a good O-line during his tenure. Special teams are a disaster every year. Where is the development?

And we lose to teams we should be every year

is that a bowl record (both for ISU and Liberty) for zero rushing yards?
didn't realize Memphis is ranked 109th rush defense and missing some guys.
that makes sense...

I have just come to expect nothing from the increasingly meaningless bowl games. Husband put on the Misery vs. Ohio St. game. He and dog have been snoring for half an hour. It’s the freaking Cotton Bowl, that used to be a thing.

Players come and go at will and some teams have more money than others. I get less and less invested.

If I win the lottery, I guess I could go buy us an offensive line.

Can you give more NIL money to guys if they play in your bowl game?

Sorry, I should've used "average to below average" instead of "suck". "Suck" was a little harsh.

I donate to We Will. And yes, I specify it for basketball.

Oregon St had 2 rushing yards today. That may be a Sun Bowl record.

I’m not saying you fire Campbell, but I can’t for the life of me figure out all of the people on here who continue to tongue his nutsack.

How many calling today a meaningless exhibition game we’re saying the same thing about the Fiesta Bowl? That’s what I thought.

The higher level the bowl the less the exhibition label? Depends on team and situation too. For FSU and Georgia, the Orange Bowl is kind of an exhibition

Really disappointed by some reactions here.

Think about the stances being made.

Why does anyone play these bowl games if they don’t mean anything?

TJ Tampa didn’t play. Ok. As far as I know, that was it. Did I miss someone else?

The bowl games mean money.

It means the players get an extra game together.

That's about it.

Big picture, I'm not sure what else you can take away from them.

Did Memphis scout our offense and defense that well, or was our play calling that familiar with their coaches? Myers’s would have been very familiar with our system.

Sadly, my wife openly calls out a lot of ISU's plays before the snap. Is she correct every time? No. But's she's correct a lot more than she should be.

Absolutely some truth to that. But for a program that has like 5 bowl game wins over the past 125 years, surely no bowl is “beneath us”.
