Ryan Day is not a good coach. How on earth does tOSU have such absolute crap as backup QBs? Seriously.
Yeah losing to a G5 is a bad look, makes the food poisoning game look like less of a fluke but if Memphis wasn’t 10-2 AAC and was a 7-6 ACC team it wouldn’t be a big deal. Also from a quick glance the recurring classes aren’t that far apart, them having to replace most of their O line was the reason I had you guys winning. The defense not being able to get through the makeshift line was extremely confusingI’m kind of losing my mind because this is a game we should have won. Hard to win though when the D can’t stop them at all. That was incredible.
Yeah but tOSU recruits 5* guys every year. Where are the 5* QBs? These guys are horrible.Ryan Day is not a good coach.
Of course Iowa finally plays them next year in what looks like may be the worst Ohio State team in a decade.Ryan Day is not a good coach.
Bet they pick up one in the portal. They've done it before. How on earth does tOSU have such absolute crap as backup QBs? Seriously.
Well they still will get slaughtered because Iowa can’t put up pointsOf course Iowa finally plays them next year in what looks like may be the worst Ohio State team in a decade.
The QB’s get helped dramatically by the caliber of the WR they have, when those guys are all sitting out it makes a big difference. Plus these are fully Day’s guys now and he sucks at coaching and developing.Yeah but tOSU recruits 5* guys every year. Where are the 5* QBs? These guys are horrible.
And Iowa hasn't won in Columbus in like 40 years.Well they still will get slaughtered because Iowa can’t put up points
Lol, you think Iowa is going to beat them next year?Of course Iowa finally plays them next year in what looks like may be the worst Ohio State team in a decade.
Well Ohio State is struggling to put up points against Mizzou, but I hope you are right.Well they still will get slaughtered because Iowa can’t put up points
Agree. You don’t see a lot of those OSU QBs in the NFL for a reason. They were propped up by their receivers and/or didn’t develop. There’s a reason guys leave OSU and become Heisman contender QBs where they get the necessary development and coaching. The QB’s get helped dramatically by the caliber of the WR they have, when those guys are all sitting out it makes a big difference. Uh, we're getting a new OC. Those days are over.Well they still will get slaughtered because Iowa can’t put up points
I agree they mostly don't do crap in the NFL but you can't deny how good they've been in college. Stroud tore Georgia's defense up. I think Cardale was the backup when he killed Bama. They're usually 2 or 3 deep with those types of guys, but these guys are Iowa level bad. Mizzou's D doesn't have to worry about any kind of passing game.Agree. Yeah, they don’t seem to have quite that QB pipeline of old. But it seems like the same could be said of a few blue bloods recently. It feels like the current crop of QBs in the Top 300 are meh compared to a 10 year run up until a couple years ago.I agree they mostly don't do crap in the NFL but you can't deny how good they've been in college.
