49ers - Brock Purdy - Still and Always #1

MVP talk aside, what an amazing opportunity for Purdy. This is a late season title bout. Two really good physical teams going toe to toe on Christmas Day. Tons of people are going to watch this game. Super hyped for Purdy to show his skill on this stage against a great team.

Not that it was true late game comeback haven't they been down 7-0 to other teams at the start of the game?
A comeback is 2nd half, down in the 4th or down big at half. He'd have one if his kicker could make an extra point-distance game winner.

Follow the money and stop listening to a few talking heads. Purdy is the overwhelming favorite to win mvp in vegas.
Yes, he is the favorite. Clearly noted and published. Let's try this - show me the NFL and media talking heads who are aggressively saying he deserves it and has earned it. If any other QB had his numbers that is what we would be hearing. If there any, they are in the extreme minority.

There are a lot of media guys that are in "anyone but Purdy' mode for some reason. Every week they throw out another guy that is more deserving. At this point they are running so low that they are trying to give it to his team mate.
I think the MVP guidelines handed out to the voters start with:

Most Valuable Player Voting Guidelines
1. A MVP candidate must beat Brock Purdy.

Since Brock doesn't beat himself; he is disqualified.

The game against the Ravens might be the most important NFL game for ISU and fans. If the Niners win, Purdy will win the league MVP and this will have a huge impact on the future recruiting for ISU.

Then why is Jackson even in the MVP conversation? They are doing everything they can to keep the MVP award away from Purdy. Jackson absolutely doesn’t deserve to be MVP. Ravens are winning despite Jackson because of their #1 defense but he will win the MVP if Ravens beat Niners on Monday.

Ever think sports betting has something to do with it? ESPN and FOX Sports content is driven by sports betting anymore and I know at least ESPN has their own betting app, but I think FOX Sports does as well. Purdy being the odds-on favorite, you want to keep driving the betting you've gotta promote others at this point.

I find it funny when the talking heads (I've heard at least two so far) use the "Purdy said himself that CMC should win the MVP" as logic, while he is just being humble. CMC might be deserving of the MVP instead of BP but not because "Purdy said so."
