Couple thoughts with the weather

1) it could keep some of the crowd away
2) poor weather/field conditions will negate speed. This may be favorable for isu
3) poor weather/field conditions will favor teams who run the ball effectively. That favors KSU
4) turnovers will be critical

Tv announcers mentioned transfer portal, could be speculation.

If they didn't even travel with the team then I'd say that is likely. If true, you can't really blame them. Sama was going to start over both of them next year. Hansen and Harris will be back, plus incoming freshman Dylan Lee.
