Absolutely f***ing inexcusable to give up a touchdown there. Really, really bad defense. Some of the worst tackling efforts you’ll ever see on a football field. Giving up the EASY 4th down and then the big gain right after (also wide f***ing open) is on Heacock. Really disappointing from this staff, once again right before a half.
And dropping INT’s isn’t bad luck or a bad break. We’ve dropped dozens of INT’s in CMC’s tenure. DB’s, LB’s, it doesn’t matter - they all drop them, year after year. When it happens with so many different players across so many different seasons, that’s on the staff. Dropping an INT is a turnover.

It was a weird year, most of our opponents were missing lots of starters due to covid
Outside of samas two big runs we have done zero on offense. This game could easily be 27-0 or something like that.
I actually think its not a bad idea to punt return there. just bad luck and typical for ISU.

I feel like we outplayed them and we have been the better team tonight, and I'm also not shocked whatsoever that we are down 20-13.

Can't really argue with like 25 yards per carry. I'm sure it'll even up a bit more in the 2nd half.
They're throwing enough towards Tampa that I'd love to get a pick 6 from him.
At this point I’m not sure that CMC is capable of not shooting himself in the foot. He is awful in the margins. I fully expect to have opportunities to win the new Big 12 in future years and Matt Campbell will find a way to screw it up. He has has opportunity after opportunity to self-correct but he never does. It is hard to watch.
When you have absolute dumb asses agreeing with you it should be an indication to stop
2020 was a brief glimpse of what this team can and should be. Accepting less is a disgrace to Iowa State and our players.
Not that I am surprised that the sky is falling on here, did anyone honestly expect more than this? K-State is much better than us. The fact it is this close is amazing, frustrating, but amazing.
