Iowa fans love to babble about the genius that Phil Parker is and they’re correct- he’s never taken another job in a league where he’d actually have to recruit against and game plan for real offenses. It is absolutely amazing how much of a turd the Big 10 West is.

Their defense is good, but I don’t think it’s great. Would you say defense is elite if they hold Iowa to 14, because that’s pretty much what Parker had to do most weeks this year.

Played one good offense in league play and got smashed. It’s like after the good teams left the Big East and Rutgers and UConn were battling for the title.
