It happened. But it could had easily happened to the big 10 as well. I don’t want to start the whole realignment thread again, but I think we all know the realignments are not done yet. Schools in conferences that are “along for the ride” shouldn’t feel 100% safe long term IMHO. But that’s a topic for another day

Florida State doesn’t deserve a playoff spot over even a one loss Oregon or Washington team. They will have played really no one with a big pulse.
Alabama is surging and I hate it. I can totally see Oregon beating Washington in the conference title game both then having a loss and the committee puts Georgia and Alabama in along with Ohio State and probably Michigan despite whoever loses that game.

Funny that Utah was the opp because in 2014 a Utah wr dropped a ball at the 1 against Oregon and I believe Oregon picked it up and took it for a touchdown of their own.
I know, that was my point, what you said "could" happen to the B1G with its bluebloods leaving did happen to the Big 12. It's going to create opportunities for everyone else to get into the CFP with the two hottest girls no longer there, but it's also going to hurt your SoS big time.

I don't think a 2nd SEC team gets in over a 1loss Pac 10 champ. Washington and Oregon are two of the best teams the west coast has had in years. Plus conference is legit good from top to bottom.
