NFL: Kansas City Chiefs Thread

I'm not counting the Chiefs out for winning any of these difficult games. And I agree with you that if the offense comes around, the Chiefs could win all or most of them. That would be nice.

It is a tough schedule though.
Most of the contenders have a tough schedule, so the Chiefs aren't unique in that regard. Per ESPN's FPI, here's the top 16 hardest remaining schedules. Only real contenders not in the top 16 are Jax at 19 and Det at 22.1697744708781.png

It seems like offense in the NFL is down across the board. There have been a lot of lower scoring games. There hasn't really hardly been any QBs throw for 300+ yards and not sure if one has thrown for 400+. It makes me wonder if the offenses will adjust or if the defenses are just going to have the upper hand for a while. I remember thinking in the Denver game, quit getting so "cute" with some of their gimmick plays like direct snaps to TEs and just hand the ball to Pacheco. Lots of yards/points left on the field because of stalled drives on gadget plays.

Chiefs have a tough schedule! The Miami game could easily be an L, at Miami. The Eagles, Bills, and Bengals are brutal, but at least they get them at home! And the Chargers twice still.

Unless they get a few things fixed, they could easily lose 3 of those games. Getting the homefield in the playoffs will be a challenge this year!
That is the beauty of the NFL schedule, teams that finish in 1st place one year, play at least two of the first play teams from that year that are in their conference.

A first place team will play all three first place teams in their conference from the year before as they always play one entire division in their conference. The will also play an entire division from the other conference, so that is a 4th. And since the 17th game, they will play the team that finishes the same place as them from the division in the opposing conference that they played 2 years ago. So a first place team will play 5 division winners from the year before.

For KC that is Buffalo, as they play the whole AFC East this year, Cincy and Jax, as those are the other two division winners in the AFC from last year, Minnesota, as they play they whole NFC North, and Philly, as they placed 1st last year in the division KC played against 2 years ago.

Thanks for this. Yes, Chiefs have a tough schedule but are not the only ones.

I think I might take the over, on this game.

17-17 Chargers. ope the chiefs can do it again. The Chargers are dangerous.

They’ll be fine. Herbert will end up making a mistake and the D will set up

Nice drive there! Up 2 touchdowns. I feel better.

Hardman a big payoff already, in his first game back as a Chief!
