Random Thoughts 17: Here we go again.

I was close to switching over to batter snow and mower. I’ve had two different people tell me they did (both neighbors) and to not do it. They’ve both had trouble and the damn batteries are under warranty and a racket to get fixed.
Well finished of my taco meat tonight just turned it into a salad with no tortilla chips. It was still pretty good.
Garden season is officially over. Canned Tomatila/Green Chilie sauce last night to cap it off. Will not miss the late nights peeling/prepping after little man goes to bed and I can divert my attention to vegetables.
How many tomatillo plants?
Our garden is pretty played out at this point. Remaining cold weather crops are a couple varieties of rutabegas. We've never grown those before, so we will see how that goes.
Typically just a pair, in case one breaks down
Usually end up with 6-10 gallon freezer bags full of tomatillos throughout the season. This year I stockpiled them in the freezer until the season was over and I could process them all at once, got sick of doing dishes last summer/fall.
Yesterday looking at the reflection of the mask in the glass as I was lying on the table these are what I was able to seeHang in there. I brought this home after my last session and then proceeded to set it on fire

Sort of bummed out. My favorite neighbors texted me to let me know they are putting their house on the market as they wanted to downsize. They have one kid left in HS and the others are older and adults. Have gotten to know them some over the last few years. I give their dog treats and they stop over for a glass of wine at times.
Said they wanted to take advantge of the market. Looked on Zillow and it said an eyepopping $1.1M. Me =

I would not suggest getting your pinky nail bent backwards by car doors being blown shut by the wind.

I heard the price today to trench in electric and gas about 600 yards at the house in working at. Any guesses?
