NFL: Kansas City Chiefs Thread

You have a lot of hostility against Taylor. I get she's not for everyone, but I think calling her "nasty" is a bit far.
If you read the stuff that she admits to, like being dumped by a guy so she spreads rumors that he is gay (he is married to his wife now) isn’t nice. Okaying lyrics to a song and then when it hits lying and ripping on the person about the lyrics I guess is two faced and not nasty. That and buying the house next to her bf’s parents (I guess that is just pure crazy and not nasty though) are just a few examples.

I dont have hostility towards her, I just think she is a bad role model for youth. She is a walking, breathing example of social media.

It was a legit call, but a weak one. If they called that sort of thing with consistency teams would have 100 plus yards in defensive holding a game (just like with olinemen holding consistently on the other side of the ball).
Well, speaking of that, the big hold call on Trey Smith (same drive) was weak as hell.

Now, you understand that she wasnt the dumpee in all those situations. Also, I hold no ill will to any woman who broke up with me. I’m happy with where I’m at and Honestly hope they are also. So if you still feel you got wronged by someone you dated as a teenager, it’s time to let it go.

Maybe even Shake it off?;):D

Anyone seen what Taylor Swift is doing to ticket prices? Lower level tickets are now $700 for regular season games. I had playoff tickets last year 20 rows off the field for $350. I dont get it. Are teenage girls gonna fill up Arrowhead?

You're not being serious... are you??

Brock Purdy isn't even close to Patrick Mahomes.

Congrats to Brock on checking down to CMC 9 times a game to pump up those QBR numbers though.
I'm as serious as a heart attack.

But I guess you are correct when you say Purdy isn't even close to Mahomes. If you you look at any meaningful statistical ranking of NFL QB's this season, Mahomes is looking up at Purdy and "it isn't even close."

Purdy is a very good QB, playing at a high level, but he also has weapons all over the field. Mahomes right now has Kelse and that is about it.

Like I said before, the QB position rankings can be very fluid year to year, and you either have one of the great ones or you are stuck in neutral going nowhere like the Vikings and Cowboys. Let's have Purdy win a Super Bowl or two, win an MVP before we put him ahead of Mahomes who has done both twice.

You can have your statistical rankings. I'll take the guy with 2x MVPs and SB rings.

I prefer to live in the present.

Look, both guys are great QB's. I just shake my head at all the doubters who insist Brock doesn't belong in the same conversation as the other greats. I have to remind myself that some people are slower to pick up on the obvious, but it's fun watching them when they finally do.

I mean Mahomes is the reigning regular season and super bowl MVP. That is the present.

I am not doubting him. I am a big Purdy fan. See the pfp???

But he has an insane team around him that is breaking the roster building barriers that are supposed to exist with a salary cap.

I'm not talking about who's had the best career. I like living in the present, so I'm talking about who's playing the best right now. And folks who insist Purdy isn't playing the best right now are either very biased (which is not unusual in the sports world) or very ignorant.

No that's last year. You're saying that because Mahomes's team won the Superbowl last year and because he was voted the MVP last year, he's the league's best QB this year. Ask any player in the NFL and they'll tell you that right now last year doesn't mean squat.
