But think of the kids! they are only 20 year olds in peak physical condition. They can't handle longer games, those are reserved for 38 year old weekend warriors at the Y.

And I think 40 minutes is long enough but yes, they should move to quarters.
Quarters are overated. TV timeouts that aren't at an instant time help the games overall flow IMO.

Announcers gave Conditt a lot of praise during the game.
Same old Conditt. Really good energy and hustle. Great at running the floor and setting screens and rolling. Picked up some dumb fouls on moving screens and fumbled away some passes inside. Not a good offensive player, but picked up 12 points on garbage. But that was against nba all star or right below that level of players. Might earn him a 10 day contract sometime during the season or at least a spot on a G-League team.

my way too early takeaway from 2 Bahama games against HS level competition that we've only seen a few highlights from:

-this team is deeper and better than we even thought
-ppl shouldn't be shocked that Omaha and Milan are coming off the bench as of now
-Omaha might not even be a top 5 scorer for this team
-Gilbert and Jones were massive additions will probably be our top 2 scorers
-Ward has surpassed Big Rob as our starting C
-Pav will be pushing Lipsey for playing time - much better offensive player high A/TO ratio and can shoot
-Defense will be even better than last year i think legit top 5 potential
-Pace will be much faster this year - i think that will be most notable change we see
-I think our play will resemble something like the best WV teams we've seen - create chaos on D push it for easy scores on O - 10 man rotation everyone stays fresh
-Most talented roster since Niang's senior year

Curtis Jones seems to be taking a lot of shots in the first couple of games. Is he a bit of a volume shooter?

He's definitely the biggest volume 3-point shooter of the transfers. He shot more from deep in 2022-23 than Gilbert and Paveletzke combined.

Also, for comparison, last year's 3pt shooting stats for Curtis Jones were really close to Gabe Kalscheur.
75 for 209 over 31 games compared to 73 for 206 over 33 games respectively.

Eh I don't know, Ward didn't give the rim the business which would have made the dunk much cooler, and his elbows look a little pointy.

When you average almost 9 of those a game you have to save up the energy.

I expect this team to average 8.5 alleyoops off the backboard next season.

The only thing that clip was missing was some "Sweet Georgia Brown" in the background.

He was gibbin' 'im da biz'nush.
