Seems like the guy isn't familiar with his NCAA television history. First complains college sports have become all about money, then rips the NCAA for not doing more to prevent realignment in college.
What the idiot doesn't seem to connect is realignment is directly related to television deals - something the NCAA can't do anything about, and hasn't been able to do anything about since the 1980s when OU sued and won the rights for conferences to directly negotiate with television networks, taking that control away from the NCAA. So what's the NCAA to do? Tell the Pac 12 schools "you will stay in the Pac 12 Conference. Oh? All you can do is get a really bad streaming deal from Apple TV that will have you making $50 million less than your peers in the Big 10? Thems the breaks." Yeah - that's not going to work. Not to mention I didn't see this pretentious douchebag making the same arguments a decade ago when the Big 10 brought in Nebraska, Rutgers, and Maryland.
I am really tired of these patronizing ***holes from these universities that got theirs whining about how money is destroying college football after the rest of us are doing what we can to survive the new landscape. I mean, go **** yourself.
