Realignment Megathread (All The Moves)

Not sure if true, but seems plausible given the state of their athletic department

I want to say about a decade ago, I read an article where Cal was having issues maintaining their stadium and it was basically falling apart. There is also the issue of earthquakes that they had to make updates for as well.

I seem to remember the stadium was built on a fault line and was pulling apart.

But that could be just a dream

Is there a way to do this **** with more than 3 protected rivals? I want KU, KSU, Cincy, WVU, and Okie State all year.

The rest can take their $31 million and **** right off
I don't give a **** who is protected or not, I'm booking flights and road trips as soon as they figure out a schedule.
Time to enjoy being able hang out at the adult table

I still want a televised draft for pods and schedule every year.
That's not actually a bad idea. Maybe not specifically that, but they definitely should explore doing something different than the other conferences and then monetizing it. Be the rogue conference.

16 is a great #. I might be in minority, but I like more protected rivalry games. Create easy road trips for fans.

In FB
Grp1: ASU, UA, BYU & UU
Grp2: ISU, KU, KSU, CU
Grp3: WVU, Cincy, USF, HOU
Grp4: TCU, BU, OSU, TT

Then rotate 2 teams from each of the other 3 groups each year.

In Hoops - 18 games
Within Group: Home & Road
Outside Group: Home Y1/ Road Y2 or vice versa.
UCF might not be happy with South Florida taking their place.

I’m ready for revenge after the ads whipping Shakey Smithson gave us last time the Utes came to town
