CW and Blum just recently has a podcast about how in the last 4 years we have been pulling in the best recruiting classes we ever got. Yea we will probably never get to the top of recruiting (at least soon) but without a doubt CMC has been pulling in the most talent we had in our history. Plus with OU and Texas leaving, the gap between the haves and have nots is getting smaller. PR was struggling to get past 6-6 in a weak big 12 north. CMC has beaten every big 12 school and in addition to having to play teams like Texas and OU every year. When was the last coach to beat OU more than once?

CMC has built something and last year was bad but not even in the same stratosphere of how bad '13-15 were.

That's the easiest one ever to argue back on, when does Kirk get fired for misuse of low income housing, Rhabdo, I believe there are a couple of sexual assault cover ups, racial discrimination in his program.
At the end of the day, it won't matter who the QB is if we can't run the ball again. The offensive line needs to be better than last year. If that happens, then it will be a better year than last. If not, then it will be a long Fall.
Actually it did! Kyle Kempt got his chance and made the most of it. Kempt is beloved now for what he did that year, and after.

I want the best guy to win, but deep down inside, I’m hoping it’s Rocco.
First off, I don’t want to rush Kohl…. I think a year on the sidelines with the headphones on is very valuable for a true freshman QB.
And second…. I’m not sold on our OL at all still…. and I think Kohl will be a sitting duck back there and teams will T off on him. Rocco and his athleticism will give us a fighting chance.
