Career fairs should be as accommodating as possible to companies. Maybe be a little more favorable to those hitting both, like let them pick their booths or something, they should not turn people away or make it difficult
Canzano's new line is that the deal will be announced by PAC12 media day, which is July 21st.
That makes sense if we're to believe that SDSU is in fact going to join the PAC. In that scenario, if CU's staying you'd have an odd number of teams which would screw with the scheduling.
And after that is UConn an add with CU as well and then hold until PAC & ACC implode? I don't know, but I doubt the Big XII would add just one for the same reason as above.
He also said that if the Pac 12 doesn't have a deal by March Madness, his outlook for the league is grim. The guy is a mouthpiece for The Pac 12 loyalists (WSU and OSU) and says what the league wants him to say to keep pushing out the deadlines and put lipstick on the pig that will be their new media deal.

I read somewhere that SDSU is requesting an extension, from their conference. Although, it said it probably would be denied.
Technically- although presidents of the Pac 12 put a deadline of end of June to want to have something done.
If SDSU has a chance to move up to a P5 they will take it, even if their buy out jumps. The long term gain will dwarf the increase they are facing with the deadline.
It was denied when it was announced lol. Obviously if it goes past the deadline it will still get negotiated down though.
The MWC might not be interested in negotiating. Losing SDSU could impact the MWC TV deal- so what's the incentive for MWC to deviate from their contract with SDSU.
Also losing SDSU gets them down to 10 teams, so MWC isn't motivated to add a team.
I wouldn't think so. What incentive would the MWC have to agree to a lesser exit fee for SDSU?

The MWC is doing them a favor by stating SDSU has already given notice. Now SDSU can point to that if the PAC invites them after 6/30. If SDSU doesn’t get an invite, it’s moot, and they’ll point to their clarification and be back in MWC
