Hey, @GMackey32 !
I got a bone to pick with you. It took me four tries to pay for the dinner - those pictures are STOOPID tiny, and I apparently couldn't see all the buses and bicycles. That's ageism, dude!!! Discrimination against elderly eyes and failing eyesight!
Have you considered calling in to complain?

I never said it was that good, either.
Still side-eyeing.

ANYWAY! @BCClone yes, Morris is a good bet. Tinley Park, on the other side of Joliet by about 15(?) miles wouldn't be too bad either.

Edit: Actually, I'm back-pedaling softly on Tinley Park. Forgot about the huge ourdoor concert venue in town, and hotel prices are stupid over there

Replaced seals and gaskets on a tach cable today. Really wasn't that fun. But the leak is gone so I'll take it as a win.

Visiting down in Iowa. Grandnephews were messing around on 8.5 foot high hoop set for the younger grandnieces so joined them. Pretty soon that became 40-something niece and majorly old me versus the two boys, 11 and 13. The elders, somewhat surprisingly considering my advanced age, owned them. Was great fun. The boys are way more into hockey but think they had fun to.

Knees will be hurtin' tomorrow.

The pressure is on now. My sister got engaged last night. Her best friend, and another 2 cousins of ours (brother and sister), who are the same age as and a year younger than her respectively, will probably end up engaged by the end of the year too.

We have a wedding today, older cousin getting married for a second time. I feel like all eyes are going to be on me now.

It was funny watching my two sisters (early-mid 40s) shut down each of their olders sons (who were like 13 & 11). They didn't seem to believe that my one sister played varsity basketball in HS and the other was a serious track athlete in HS.

And if that's not where you are and they're weird about it, too bad for them.

Love my family but the ones that leave others' personal lives alone are the best to be around.

True Confession: I stuffed the little guys a couple of times because I figured at 70-something I'd not get another chance to block a shot in this time line. Just a couple of times, didn't overdue it, I am not a jerk and stole the ball zero times. ;)

Knew it had been okay because they wanted to play again tonight but old Uncle Boxster had already downed a couple of glasses of wine with dah pizza so thought better of that.
