Classic Arsenal, lost out to Chelski on Murdyk and settled for an old terd during the window. Gotta reinforce when you’re at the top of the table.
Trossard has been amazing. Murdyk has not.

Spurs quit caring months ago and so did I, so your jibe doesn’t have much impact. They’ll sell Kane and Spurs will be much worse next season. Poor transfer decisions mean they need a complete overhaul - it’s time to get on with it!Chelsea 12th.
Tottenham currently out of Europe completely sitting in 8th. How does it feel? @iccyfan lmaooo

Nobody cares who finishes second.
It doesn’t feel stellar, as you well know considering eighth is where your favorite club finished two of the past four seasons.Tottenham currently out of Europe completely sitting in 8th. How does it feel? @iccyfan

I’m obviously ready for this disappointing season to come to a merciful end. I’m excited for a club reset, starting with a young manager who can mold young talent. Kane has been great but he deserves a chance to win titles and cups, which won’t happen at Spurs in the next year or two. I still love the club and I’m patient - we have the resources to return to competitive status in a timely manner.
In the interim, I’ve still enjoyed this season with clubs like Aston Villa and Brentford on the rise. It’s fun to root against Man City and their rising clone Newcastle, without needing to name the North London arch rival - that Nottingham Forest match was an unexpected pleasure!
Hope springs eternal and next season is right around the corner. Have a great summer!
Has iccyfan been a **** to you/did you grow up in north London? If not it seems like you’re coming in real hot for pretty much no reasonMan your excuses align right with a spuds fan. It has to hurt that even on those 8th place finishes Arsenal had, they won more trophies than Tottenham has won since 2008. Small club, small fan base, small mindset. You’ll always be in the shadows.

Edit: unless iccyfan was an ass in previous years, I’m not seeing it
While I agree that he deserves to win some silverware, I hope Spurs doesn’t sell him. Without Kane this year Spurs is likely sitting just above the drop zone.It doesn’t feel stellar, as you well know considering eighth is where your favorite club finished two of the past four seasons.

I’ll cop to “giving them the business” in previous years, though I was never this aggressive. For fifteen straight years, I received St. Totteringham Day messages from my Arsenal fan buddies. The tide turned and Spurs finished above the Gooners six years in a row. I talked some trash and now that the results have turned again, I’m on the receiving end - I’m not hiding. It’s all good - without a heated rival, it wouldn’t be nearly as much fun! #COYSHas iccyfan been a **** to you/did you grow up in north London?
