Record breaking 88 degrees in Mpls today. Maybe 90 tomorrow. And possibility of snow Saturday night.

Fairly certain water ingestion testing does not account for submersion. That would have been a bad day for insurance companies.
They need to just stop with this 1000 year event stuff. It is not a once in 1000 year event. It's a 1 in 1000 annual event probability. 1/10 of a percent annual probability. They got it almost right but had to add "year".

I went running today cause the run looked "easy" and it was "only" 80. Mostly died.
I take a pretty circuitous route to avoid any particular winds but it wasn't bad today! Worse yesterday....during the emergency burn ban when the military fort up north did a controlled burn?!?!??! Ended as expected...

No kidding. "Still looking into the cause of the fire.....". Hope they are better at war fighting decisions. Damn, that was so ******* stupid.
Yes. Most were F1 or 2 so lower end stuff, but still bad enough that one hit the town of Agency and killed 2 people.
Like them touting the 1993 Iowa floods as a 1-in-500 year event.......only for it to happen again in 2008?
