Ames
Ambulance just showed up at my neighbor. This is the third time I'm aware. They just wheeled the stretcher into the house
We either have the Ames PD or Story County deputies show up at are neighbors once a month or so. Their 35 year old son goes off in a drunken rage. Not a good situation. I’ve had to go over and talk him down a couple times. Parents need to not give him money to buy booze.

Sometimes he goes with the cops peacefully other times in a rage. I feel bad that for his 70+ year old parents. We came home around midnight last month and he was in his car with the radio cranked. Told his parents the next day…the following day the deputies show up and away he goes.

Yesterday I see him walking there dog. Just waiting for when the cops show up again.

I grew up next to a guy that lived with his mother and he was trashed all the time. One time I heard someone calling "help me" so I ran over. He was on the ground on the back patio. His mom, who was probably 80-90 came out and told me to leave him be cause he fell over drunk and he could just lie there

Not exactly sure.
Never thought I would hear this sentence:

“I got kicked off my 8th grade football team because of my OWI.
A kid from where you live? I gotta let a buddy of mine know. He used to hold the record for youngest to get an OWI. He may be crushed.

Any woman that has the same first name as my daughter, I can’t find hot. It feels wrong if I do. Why I always said I could never marry a woman with the same first name as one of my sisters or mom. It would have been instant birth control.

A cousin of mine married a guy with the same name as her brother and another cousin of mine's boyfriend has the same name as her brother.

Sounds incestual. ;).

I had a HS classmate who married a woman named Chris, he also is named Chris. It was a struggle drinking with them later on.

My sister and wife have the same name. Spelled slightly differently but same name. Never bothered me

I mean, I'm someone who's slightly weirded out that someone on my work team has the same name as my husband.

Bacon wrapped cream cheese filled jalepenos from Fareway are pretty darn good. I think they would be pretty easy to make but I was buying groceries and needed something easy for supper it was already late.

If you want up your jalapeño popper game, instead of using plain cream cheese, try making a cheesy buffalo chicken mixture.

That wouldn’t bother me, I’m just thinking about when getting busy and saying their name it would bother me. My wife’s middle name is the same as my oldest sister so that never gets said. Spelt slightly different, but the same.
