There are like 5 people in the building and we have hotel cubicles set up for people that don't have a desk to set up to work. So naturally someone (I have no clue who) comes in and sits in the cube right next to me (not a hotel cubicle) and proceeds to talk on the phone the entire time

Any security cameras? If the answer is no wait for them to take a break and snip their phone lines with either a pocket knife scissors wire nippers etc....

Not exactly sure.
Almost got ran over by the paparazzi and have no idea who the star was. Walked right beside someone famous I guess.

I'm sorry, guys. I hate vague posting like I did last night. The husband half of the couple that we road-tripped to Idaho with last fall, who are closer to us than our siblings, is going into home hospice care tomorrow. He was diagnosed in the summer of 2018, around the same time I was...but his is a far more aggressive type and they didn't think he would make it to his 65th birthday (June of 2020). It has been a rollercoaster ride for them; twice they thought they had it beat or at least contained. He entered the hospital last week with pneumonia and his numbers have just kept dropping and now his organs are failing and there is nothing more that can be done.
We knew it was coming soon.
And it ******* sucks..
He is the best of us.

I am glad he forced you all to go on that trip and you will have those memories.

We were planning on traveling out to New England and around to the six states north and east of New York that none of us had ever been to with them as soon as he retired (the rest of us were already there, but he planned to work for a couple more years). Then he was diagnosed, and those plans went on hold. When he started getting better, we upgraded to a new Butzbus to fit the four of us and started making plans (although we had to plan around his potential need for dialysis). Then he started crashing again, and once more plans went on hold.
Last summer we were just chatting around a firepit and he mentioned that he wished he could visit his sister, but with his condition he couldn't fly and driving was a problem because of his need for frequent meals and frequent bathroom breaks, and a lightbulb went on for us...if we took him out there in the butzbus, he would have food and a bathroom always at the ready. And it was perfect. We had so much fun! I'm so glad we made that trip; I don't feel like he forced us at all...unless you meant that his condition "forced" the rather hasty trip.

Neighbor next door is getting a large walnut tree taken down. We were supposed to do it but couldn't due to other circumstances. All they have is a bucket and a dump trailer. There is a massive pile of brush on the ground. I just hope they don't cut up the trunk, it looks to be pretty valuable.

Ambulance just showed up at my neighbor. This is the third time I'm aware. They just wheeled the stretcher into the house

We had a house down the street that always had a lot of ambulance calls.

Turns out it was an assisted living home. It went for sale and it wasn't in great condition to say the least.

Very sad considering the cost to have a room when it was active
