Lazard moving on

If you can get Odell at a good price, then I would go for it. If he's wanting higher end receiver money then I wouldn't do it.

Rodgers and Odell..... hard to find 2 bigger cancers in the NFL. They deserve each other. Throw in Suh, and you have them all!

Yea OBJ really tanked the Rams in 2021

That's rich coming from Rodgers... Here's a guy coming off his worst season, 40 years old, numerous home field playoff games (refs in back pocket), and can't get to a superbowl while playing in the weaker NFC.

Do you really think he's gonna get to the Superbowl, when you have to go through Allen, Borrow, and Mahomes first? Jets might want to re-think this or give up very little in draft capital for a wishy washy guy that holds his team hostage every off season.
I can't imagine what the Jets are going to give up for him. Is it even going to be a first round pick? I'm thinking it's going to be a 2nd and maybe a late pick. Maybe the Jets give up a player in return, but I suspect the trade itself will be far from blockbuster.

Not going to lie, none of those are going to move the needle anymore than the current WR corp of Wilson, Moore, and the jets TE group. You could add Lazard and he’d be a great 3rd option to Wilson and Moore and would be great for the run game but Cobb brings nothing to that wr core. OBJ doesn’t either and costs a ton.

I would be ecstatic if I were a Jets fan but to each their own.
A Jets offense with Rodgers, OBJ, Breece Hall, and Garett Wilson could be pretty damn exciting to watch, assuming Rodgers and OBJ have anything left in the tank. That team as it was this year, was really only a competent QB away from the playoffs.

Are we even sure Moore is the #2? Pretty miserable sophomore season after showing a lot of promise in his rookie season. Corey Davis was their #2 this past season and still under contract for one more year.

Read rumors that Lazard was also talking to Denver. Maybe that’s the other team he’s negotiating with right now.

Dunno, Russell Wilson vs Aaron Rodgers. I am a Broncos fan, so I am biased

Rodgers didn't have a great season last year but he is only one season removed from back-to-back MVPs. I have no idea if it will work out but it is much better than the alternative if you're a Jets fan. I tip my cap to teams that actually try to win. There are plenty of owners that are happy to just cash the checks.

Everything I've read about OBJ is that he is an excellent teammate on the field. Batshit off it obviously. That said, with what the Jets already have in Wilson and Moore, OBJ doesn't really fill a need. Adding Lazard as a slot possession receiver and extra blocker makes sense.

Moore improved late season once he stopped complaining and Davis didn't figure to be back at all.

I just question how good he actually is, anymore. Outside of his first 3 years in the league, he hasn't consistently shown that he's a deserving of top wide out money. He had a nice playoff run with the Rams, but he's not a spring chicken anymore.

I saw a tweet implied that Moore could be traded as part of this whole process.
