*** Official Oklahoma State vs #11 IOWA STATE Game(Day) Thread ***

My least favorite conference matchup physically.

Hopefully Jaz can help and ISU can get some 3s going.
OSU shot 9-21 from 3 (including a bank in if I remember correctly) to beat us. Although to be fair they missed 12 FTs. Those two things probably cancelled each other out. Caleb sat most of the 2nd half, though, and that was the real difference maker.

Their length and speed were issues when they tightened up after ISU's good start and it was their game from there. The threes were perfect timing since the 'they don't hit threes' narrative popped up on CF.

ISU still had a chance (or several) late so that was a good sign in a way.

Cyclones favored by 6 points. O/U 127. 67-60 Good Guys would work (but don't forget your nut cups!)! Go Cyclones!

Thanks Rulzzz.

Will help to have a good game by Osun. Should be fun. Great to be back in Hilton. Other Big 12 teams have losses on the road also. The media just likes to make us the red haired target for their abuse.

ISU is definitely the weak link in the top half of the Big 12 at 2-6 away but considering the team's make up vs. the others and that they haven't been smoked in conference, agreed it's not that bad.

Keys to the game:

Limit live ball turnovers
Keep them off the offensive glass
Limit second chance threes
Find shooters in transition D
Hard cuts and sharp passes on O
Attack their length

If we play like we are accustomed to at home, I expect a 10-15 point victory.
