This reminds me of Guardians of the Galaxy. Like Peter Quill, you may be an A-hole but you are not 100% a **** (nickname for Richard that starts with d).

Regardless of how long you've been a part of CF, you will never know what it's like to be a moderator on here. So while you might think you're a single person poking a jab, remember that there are dozens if not hundreds a week doing the same thing to those that are doing everything they can for you to have a place to visit. And likely many more doing far worse via PM.

So as you move on to other threads and posts or go to other sites, remember that you aren't singled out until or unless you give us a reason. Your actions have far greater impact on others than you might expect just because it's "the internet".

If you want the forums to continue to be lively and enjoyable, I would suggest thinking more about your jokes about moderators and/or moderation.

So you get to call people pricks and dicks as a mod, but then lecture people? Just curious.

If my first account wasn’t hacked I would have been on that list. Now I’m a nobody.

Sorry to hear....as many have said, I see CF as a place to gather/bond over Cyclone sports and have fun discourse about other topics (I e. Hanging with friends chatting about random stuff).

Unfortunately, seems online "daggers," hate, jerkiness has also become a layer of our experiences beyond Cyclone sports...and it then trickles into "real life".

Try to be kind, humble, and thankful on/offline vs being someone no one likes :-)

No idea what happened here but it sounds like things got really bad. I quit other SM sites bc of how bad people can act. Really hope I don’t have to quit this one too. I hope they ban those who crossed the line.

Exactly why I unsubscribed from the Cave in 2020 and I have enjoyed this site 100x more than I used to since then not having to see all the negativity and personal attacks that happen there on a daily basis. There are so much better things to do in life than to take things personally when some complete stranger on a message board personally attacks you. F them and move along when that happens.
