The St. Bonaventure transfers sure worked out good.
Their leading scorer this year played on that St. Peter's team that went to the Elite Eight.......

Depends on our Missouri result coupled with the rest of the top-15.Top 10 rank coming?

I’m pretty sure he showed up to a practice before the season and was blown away by the high intensity training TJ puts the guys through. I wouldn’t be surprised if he starts showing up a few times a year. Please act cool cyclone fans. I was across the arena and at one point a fan came down from the concourse and it got a little cringy. That was Jeff van Gundy, but what was he doing in Ames? I kind of missed that.
Sorry yes. Best Missouri and we are in regardless. I meant a second way would be if we lose a close one but a lot of the other top-15 loses.Beat Missouri and we're in. They'll find a place for the Big 12 leaders.
It's crazy to think that if we would have won Saturday we would have been probably #8 or so in the polls. And if we won tonight and if we win Saturday in Columbia the chances of us being top 5 would be extremely high. Oof.
As it stands, after tonight and if we win in Columbia and depending how teams ahead of us do, we're likely 7th or 8th.
I loved it when they called a foul on Shoon on a block. They pan to Van Gundy. He is looking at the replay and he says something like that is a good block. Even Van Gundy knew that Shoon got screwed on the call.Stan Van Gundy comes to Ames for home games now, that’s the ultimate compliment to a college basketball venue
Fixed.Love it! Need to remind myself it'll be a rough conference rock fight the rest of the way...and get over the loss of OKie state that would have given some breathing room....but for now ..keep doing our thing and control our own fate!
I was thinking about this last night. I wonder if they will rest Caleb at Misery to try to get him over this. I am fine with potentially sacrificing a non-con game to increase the chances of the conference prize. Not sure they know how to rest but I’d consider it for Missouri
I’d be OK resting Grill for the next week. Cyclones just need to split the next two road games (Mizzou and Tech), get everyone rested and healthy for the conference stretch run starting with KU on Feb 4.I was thinking about this last night. Pillow fight? The big 10 west in football is a pillow fight. The big 12 bball schedule is more like a royal rumble (if wrestling were real).Love it!
