Strange Snacks/Odd Food Combinations

I used to eat Corn Nuts at work until a neighboring cubicle inhabitant discretely told me that everyone in the section dreaded hearing me crunching on them. Now I don't even try since my teeth are a bit more fragile as I've aged.

There used to be something called Corn Nut Chips. OMG they were the absolute BEST. Unfortunately they only lasted about a year but then were discontinued.

A late friend of mine used to vouch for cottage cheese with French dressing on it.

Maybe that's why he's late.

This! I have been doing it since I was very young. Doritos on tuna sandwiches is what started it all. I put doritos on Subway sandwiches even. The old Planters cheeseballs crushed up on ham or turkey sandwiches are quite good.

I will add... any kind of potato chips with Philadelphia cream cheese, instead of dip. And this is why I am overweight o_O
These or Cheetos (either kind) gently crushed also make a great salad crouton alternative.

Fries with tartar sauce
Fish with ketchup
Grilled cheese with ketchup
Cheese whiz spread on cinnamon bread
Shrimp pizza
We started adding green olives to our pizzas a long time ago. This year we added banana peppers, too. (Also sausage or burger and Canadian bacon)

Probably not weird or even that uncommon, but if I'm having a piece of cake it's in a bowl with milk, and I'm eating it with a spoon. Same goes for pie.
You ever had Tres Leches cake? Basically cake soaked in milk. A Mexican place near us makes some that is phenomenal. Feel like you would like it.

I love green olives on pizza. Problem is I can't convince my wife or kid or anyone else in our family/friend groups that it's really good. So I never get it unless I get a wild hair to slice a few up and add to my own individual slices of whatever else the family prefers that night.
Agree, it isn't easy to find people willing to do green olive (or black for that matter). Unless I want to tackle a full medium-size by myself, I tend to not get it (unless I do a half-and-half). Italian sausage/green olive is probably my favorite two-ingredient combo. (It can depend on which pizza place I'm using).

Just having this discussion with my buddy on a trip out of town, but what are some things you eat that others would think, what in the hell is wrong with you!

I would eat cold turkey bacon and a glass of chocolate milk as a snack for a long time.
Azteca soft taco shells heated up dipped in the Fritos jalapeño cheddar canned cheese.

My go-to after school snack for quite a while was potato chips and chocolate chips. I’d just throw em both in my mouth together - mmm, salty and sweet chocolatey goodness.

This was back around 1980. I should have tried to market it, as I see some companies have stolen my idea and are selling chocolate-covered potato chips now.
Fries dipped in chocolate shake is a must at B-Bop’s.

Not a combination, but I buy croutons just to eat them. I hate salads but eat croutons like chips. I also buy French's Fried Onions just to eat out of the can.
