***Official 2023 Weather Thread***

It’s worse up in NEIA.

We’ve had a ton of snow melt off but not enough that we can resume normal activities.

So we don’t have enough snow to ski, snow shoe, snowmobile, or fat bike and too much snow to ride bike or enjoy hiking. The 10 day forecast is 30 degrees with no snow, so we’re stuck in **** limbo.
I'm trying to get a mental picture and I need to know which four-letter word you used. Makes a world of difference in the meaning.

Rain and fog around the Dirty Dodge. Visibility about half a mile. Paving wet but good driving.

Maybe the city won’t clean the streets and push it all into my driveway.

This is the wettest snow I’ve seen in a long time. Too wet to shovel and the blower hated every second of it, but it got done.
We got no snow a county below. All rain and hail.

Plows came by right after we finished clearing snow off our driveway/sidewalks in SE side of Sioux Falls. Luckily my husband cleared pretty far out into the street so the end of our driveway isn't too bad. The neighbors across the street have about a 4 feet tall pile blocking their driveway. Also had a drift as tall as me starting to block our furnace exhaust vent that I had to clear away from the house. I'm guessing we got about 18inches in our area of town. Snow plows were getting stuck, one tipped over earlier today and a plow driver had a medical emergency and passed away while clearing a path for emergency personnel. It has been a rough 24 hours.

Ok guys, I need some deep **** in Waukee. Please tell me there is a massive snow storm with following high wind heading our way. I'll even let you make all the length measuring jokes you want.

Think it hit the 12" mark in the last 24 hours here. My shoulders are hurting just looking at it. Is pretty though but the way it's stuck to everything I am assuming it's heavy ****. My columnar white pines look like weeping white pines with branches arched to the ground.

Goal for the day is no heart attack.

12 inches is a lot. Hope you didn't try handling it all at once.
