***2022-23 CFB Bowl Games Thread***

So glad playoff is expanding. Insane that the big ten wasn’t even that good but has 2/4 if the spots.

OSU has been overrated all year. They had to come from behind at home (and at night) to beat a Notre Dame team that would lose at home to Marshall the next week. Then Michigan kicks their ass at the end of the season. But, they still get in the playoff.

Is the clock supposed to stop when you fumble backwards out of bounds? This seems like something offenses could exploit to stop the clock.

That's a good question. Don't know the rule on that, but could definitely be exploited if it does stop.

That Joe Moore Award winning offensive line though...
Agree! Stupidest Award ever. Oklahoma won it in 2018, and I watched the Alabama D-Line brutalize the OU O-Line to get out to a 28-0 lead over the Sooners in the Orange Bowl. Kyler Murray had Bammers flying at him left and right in the backfield until Alabama decided to back off and basically play prevent the rest of the game.

Cannot believe the crying by the ESPN talking heads. Claiming that Michigan has gotten robbed by the refs.

It's gonna be so great when the Big 12 is playing for a national championship while Michigan and Ohio State go home with their participation trophies.

They need Michigan to win so badly.
They all have money on Michigan. Hell if you watched all the non stop coverage, everyone said Michigan in a blowout.

What is sad is all the bowls all the coverage, and only thing covered in the half time shows etc for the last several weeks, is the 2 playoffs, with a quick blip on the other games going on. God forbid they actually preview even the other NY6 games, let alone a few other upcoming bowls. I literally watched the same half time show 15 times over. The repeated the same preview of the 2 playoff games. It is really sickening how terrible ESPN is on covering anything other than the damn playoff.

Its amazing that ESPN doesnt have more invested in the Big 10 the way they pump those teams up.

At least Desmond said that Michigan still got the ball inside the 1 and that they are the one who screwed that next play up.

Also... what about all this nonsense about how on the play before the Michigan "TD pass", the ball was spotted 2 yards back from where it should have been?? If it hadn't been, then the following play would have gone 2 more yards and been a TD. Have you heard anything so absolutely stupid in your life?

Not only did they mention this during the 1st half, but then they addressed it again on the halftime show. What idiots all these people have become. It's contagious.

Because they all just assume the Michigan WR would have ran the route the exact same way, the exact same speed, and McCarthy would have throw the ball the exact same distance, etc, etc, etc. So f'ing stupid. You can't make this crap up.

Michigan has a big scoring differential in the 2nd halves because they wear the opponent down with all their rushing. However, they're down 15 at half and if TCU can score again to start the 2nd half, Michigan won't have the luxury of rushing the ball for most of the 2nd half.

Yep, TCU needs to get them to where they have to throw and if so I think McCarthy will throw them a pick or two.

I may have you confused with another poster on here. There was a poster who said TCU needed to be up BIG at halftime because Michigan would take care of them in the second half.
Oh no that was me. Sorry you just commented on a different post. I said that if TCU wasn’t up big at half it would be a bloodbath. Michigan is a great second half team. I expect the game to be close
