Assuming we win our next three cupcake games we will need to pull off 10 conference wins or 9 conference games and beat Missouri late in season to get to 20 regular season wins. Can this team achieve that?

BTW, depending on quality wins rest of the way I think this team could get in the tournament with 18 or 19 wins.

I said all off-season that I thought defense would regress just a bit and offense would have the same ceiling, but without a true playmaker like Brock to carry us. Don’t overreact to a win or a loss and we’re about where I expected.

I don’t remember exactly how I put it, but basically felt this was going to look more like the rebuilding year you’d have after going 2-22.

Bright future, not so pretty short term.

I don’t think the top 2-3 teams are as good as last year, but I think the middle is significantly better. I voted ‘No’ but that could be a derivative of what I just watched.

Tonight absolutely sucked but it was a perfect **** storm. I still think we make the dance. Big12 doesn't seem as tough this year. I think we win at least 8. But we will see.
If the Big 12 isn’t as tough, then that just makes it less likely 8-10 in conference gets it done.

Yes. Big 12 isn't as good as it was last year. We had plenty of nights like this last year. It won't always be this putrid.

It isn't that much worse but I think enough that we pick up enough wins. Those wins will still be Quad 1 or 2

I'd say we can't shoot worse, but we can....senior night last year was an example. If we could average 7-8 threes per game, I'd feel a lot better...we couldn't hit the broadside of a barn tonight

I personally don't know how we won't be swept by atleast 2 teams in conference play. So now you've got to win 9 or 10 of the 14 remaining games? Don't see that happening.

can? yes. will? who knows.

it will be a grind. did not see tonight going this way. not overreacting, but it's a sobering game/outcome.

feel like we need a better solution for getting the ball up the court and counteracting pressure. we're going to get loads of it from here on out.

Well we're likely losing 6-8 agaisnt the top of the conference in Baylor, KU, Tech, and Texas so its gonna be pretty damn hard

I think this team goes 4-14 in conference. Similar team as last year minus Brockington. Brockington went god mode and single-handedly got us 3 Big 12 wins on his own

We were also pretty lucky to face a gutted Tech team when we did. Barely pulled it off even with them down guys.
