*** CFB Championship Week Games Thread***

Yeah that was actually unbelievable. Two non reviews. I don't know what is going on with Big12 booth officials, but holy ****. TCU had to call a timeout, and they still got the spot wrong by a whole foot!
What's going on with the booth officials is what's been happening all season. The conference refs suck and that includes the booth/replay guys as well. It's a complete sh!t show.

Did you hear the mention that the booth replay official for the Big 12 game was Brad Van Vark? Pella’s own, the guy who wouldn’t flinch at making calls against Iowa State when he was a field official?

In principle (assuming Ga/U-M win as expected and remain 1-2), I prefer sticking to 1-2-3-4 rank regardless of conference, IF that's how committee assesses the pecking order. That's a big "if." If the assumption is Ohio State should jump TCU because it has a better loss between the two, go for it.

As for what's "preferred" for the semi/final matchups, I'm sure they could massage it into whatever is deemed most attractive and most likely outcome.

I will say, if I'm a U-M fan, and had to rematch Ohio State in the semifinal so soon after beating OSU on the road AND getting to the B10 title game AND winning conference title, I'd be a bit pissy.

If they're 2 & 4 and each advances to national title game, that might suck to have to prove it again, but in that case Ohio State would've upset Georgia and "earned" its way to a rematch.
If Michigan loses, TCU move to #2?

In previous years they say much better loss is 100% meaningless.

Having to play a CCG when you have a round-robin conference schedule is ********. TCU won by two games, beating KSU already. Same thing happened to us two years ago - outright win the regular season, beating OU.
I might be for something like if the team goes undefeated in conference, they can opt out to preserve their rank. And then the 2nd and 3rd teams can play for a resume builder.

Probably a crap idea but they went undefeated in conference and they are not the champions?

It would be funny if Georgia loses but the committee has no choice to put TCU in since the 'lost your title game' thing is toast.

Georgia and Iowa continue to prove that God does like football, he just hates Iowa State:)
