If Neal Brown can get fired for 5-7, how many years of 4-8 does Matt Campbell's good graces earn him here?
Neal greased the new guy's wheel pretty good. When you gotta pay somebody to fire them it's an easy choice.
Talk this morning on ESPNU radio of CMC heading to Cincinnati, an idea I find absurd.

WV is in a tough spot with Neal Brown. They've never been terrible, but they've never been good either. Finished 5th or 7th in the Big 12 all four years he's been there and made two bowl games.
College coaches get paid a **** ton so I don't feel sorry for them. But, it's a tough gig. Zero sum game where going .500 will get you fired at pretty much every program.

CFB insiders seem to think they don't have the buyout money + new contract money for a new coach. If they have another 5-7 season he will be toast.
