Most Obese States

If you go to Tempe, Arizona. You will realize how fat we are. Colorado has so many people hiking and skiing they are bound to be healthier

I keep gaining a ton of weight (mostly due to some meds I’m on) and will help get us to the top where we belong.

Smoking was a big difference when we moved back to the Midwest

Seems like everyone is burning a lung dart

Oh...and the obesity. Lots and lots of obesity. Siri, where's the closest Pizza Ranch?
A lot of youthful smokers in NYC, DC and Chicago. Especially in their 20's. Weird.

I am down 100 pounds from my heaviest. I managed to reach the 200’s this weekend. Roughly 49 pounds to go before re-evaluating my goals. Diet and exercise….who knew?

I am doing my part to help the state of Iowa from getting amy higher on that list…

Iowa, as a major corn and bean producer, is at the crux of the ongoing epidemics of chronic disease such as obesity, heart disease, metabolic syndrome, hyperinsulinemia, NAFLD.....

Corn is used to make corn syrup, which is sugar and sugar - often HFCS - is in nearly every one of the thousands of fake/processed food items in every grocery store. Oils such as those extracted from corn and beans too are in nearly every one of the thousands of fake/processed food items in every grocery store. These fake/processed foods, made largely of processed plant sugars and processed plant oils (and often fried in processed plant oils) - were largely unknown to humankind a century ago,you know, back when people were thin. People would do well to never eat these fake/processed foods. Best eat the real foods, lower carb foods, your ancestors ate - meats, seafoods, eggs, dairy, cheeses, non-starchy veg/greens, etc.

It’s so gross to go back to rural Iowa and I just see the used diabetes needles everywhere.

Different kind of drugs, same problems.
Aren’t you from #13 Ohio? Suck it fatso. To be fair there’s probably a lot of contact fatness with WV and Kentucky.

They all mostly had physical jobs which worked off the intakes. They also ate a lot of breads and fattier meat, the worst being lots of lard.

Better yet go to another country. I'm not obese but I felt like a tremendous schlub when I was in Korea, and they aren't shy about telling you you look fat over there.

Like people you don't even know?

The Chinese love and consume lots of pork, so I don’t really think that is a big part of it. Although they at least don’t eat fried tenderloins or other deep fried junk.
But they smoke tons of heaters, so that counteracts the high fat diet.
