NFL: ***2022 NFL Season Thread***

I’m not even talking weed, Rodgers was taking psychedelics all off season.
When that story came out this is how I pictured him:

I did not see this game playing out the way it has. The Bengals look terrible.

Burrow always crashes back to earth after having his ego stroked like last game.

Chicago trading for Chase Claypool

That o line is brutal.
And they rebuilt that line from the one last year that gave up 51 sacks (70, including the playoffs and 7 in the Super Bowl). There are 4 new starters, and they are on pace for more than 60 sacks.

As a lifelong Bengals fan, I was so excited they went deep in to FA and got these new offensive linemen. Never did I think they would end up being worse, esp since they were decent to highly rated.

Good news is the AFC North is pretty weak. I'm just hoping for a win next week vs. Carolina, into the buy week to get healthy, and win the North and sneak in. Who knows after that - look what happened last year.

Orlando Brown may be available this offseason. He didn't take the KC deal.
Potential wise he's a freak, execution wise, he's up and down.

Like his potential but a late 2nd (pick Bears got from Ravens for Roquan) seems a bit steep to me.
They basically flipped a guy who didn't want to be there for a position of significant need. They are in dire need of more skill positions on offense, and at 6'4 238, they don't have anyone else like Claypool on the roster. He's a compliment to Mooney.

That said, if Fields hadn't started to show signs of potential the last two weeks, I doubt they're making this move.

This season is still pretty well lost, but if they spend the off-season focusing on acquiring oline help, they could take a step forward next year.

They can have him. He's a RT masquerading as a LT.
