I'm not an expert on Liberty, but from what I know it is far less credible than BYU.
Agree but I from what I saw online it was only established in 1971 and it takes a long time to establish programs to compete with other institutions that have been around for over a hundred years.
 
Firing a coach this early is because a big dog booster has seen enough and told the AD to do it because the buyout will be covered.

Also, gotta imagine the Auburn coach is gonna be gone soon.

I don't disagree with him getting canned but is there a more dysfunctional athletics department in the nation than Auburn?

Didn't I see that they were looking into a new athletic director as well? Something about interviewing Mississippi State's AD?
