Roughing call was what it was, and that was a terrible call.

But that TD is on Johnson for not picking that off. That was a floating duck like playing 500 in the backyard
In his defense it was such a duck he had to turn his head the opposite direction. Still probably should have been caught.

Yeah, because we never saw Purdy do anything dumb in his years here. I totally agree it was a horrible decision, and never should have been thrown.... just don't agree that Purdy is the much better alternative.

From 2018-2021 ISU scored on 91 percent of redzone opportunities. This year ISU has only scored on 78 percent of redzone opportunities. Say what you want about Purdy, but those teams rarely missed out on points once they got into the red zone. Can’t say the same about this Dekkers led team.

When you play defense, it needs to be caught when it’s right in your hands with nobody swatting at it. No excuse and he would tell you the exact same thing. You could see how much he knew that was a big drop.

our guys are horrible, HORRIBLE about not turning their heads when the real estate runs low.
