Defensive scheme recognition is very clearly a large issue with Dekkers right now. That may come some from coaching but a lot has to do with preparation. I don’t know what his prep work is like, but he’s either not prepping enough during the week or is Petras-ing (preps well but just freezes up big time in a game). Kansas defense isn’t exactly the most complex scheme.

Kansas:

I mean, none of those things are that untrue by this game.

ISU is stepping all over its own **** on offense, including handing KU a short field. This is a lot more "ISU Bad" than "KU is suddenly amazing"
