the bend but don’t break defense has officially broken. Our LBs aren’t good enough and our nose isn’t good enough to be running this defense anymore IMO.

Big reason we can't get over the hump is that we don't score in red zone (Dekkers sacked) while our opponents almost always score.
A mobile quarterback can make a lot of busted plays look good too.
Do you folks actually watch ISU football over the last six years. This is how they are every season in SEP. CMC does not start seasons wells and games well.
Most of our victories are because of John Heacock developed and coached defense keep is in games.
Yeah, our defense is generally also weaker in the first half over the last few years. So letting KU get a couple TDs in the first half is somewhat expected (and, really, one of them is more the fault of our offense right now)
Having zero points against a pretty poor defense, however, is not.

Can’t blame the D for the short field. KU has a great offense.
We will be under dogs in every game the rest of the season. Maybe not WVU, but everyone can score points very quickly in this league.

Purdy was also a much better quarterback than Dekkers. That’s a massive difference.
Man really need some points before the half, especially since KU gets the ball to start the half… we are not looking good, and I’m starting to think that’s just who this team is at this point. However, I’m begging them tho prove me wrong by doing a complete 180 in this game.
