Even with a pod system they still have a relatively easy time many years.West only has one more year after this.

I have heard/seen multiple people in national college football media suggesting Matt Rhule as a candidate. This would be a great option for all parties involved. It's become pretty apparent that he isn't fit for the NFL game, and he always seemed to be more of a college guy anyway. He played at Penn St so there are the B1G ties, and his success at Baylor and Temple provide a strong enough record as a program builder to make this a solid hire choice for Nebraska.Ken Miller on KXNO said multiple times today Nebraska should go after Matt Ruhle. He will probably be fired from Carolina soon, and he did a great job at Temple and Baylor. Makes a lot of sense actually.

As you mentioned, his seat is getting hot in Carolina, and whether he is fired or not, he could take a preemptive exit while going to a better landing spot. The Panthers wouldn't cry over him leaving, and I imagine he would welcome a change of scenery.
And Nebraska's QB next year can't be much worse than Baker Mayfield unless Petras transfers there.I have heard/seen multiple people in national college football media suggesting Matt Rhule as a candidate. No ****. They have freaking Rutgers on their schedule every damned year and never have to go to Columbus.Even with a pod system they still have a relatively easy time many years.
Smarmy Trev Alberts hires smarmy Matt Rhule to run their smarmy program. Wins everywhere.I have heard/seen multiple people in national college football media suggesting Matt Rhule as a candidate. Fleck's agent will milk the Goophers for all it's worth. This story from an Omaha TV station actually has Fleck listed at #5! I say go for it. It'll be fine....

This one?As JP4CY points out, there was a story here at CF a few years ago with that family picture and interview with Mrs. Campbell and wives of other coaches. Mr.'s Campbell was the lead and talked about coaches wives area in the stadium with changing table and kids running around, watch parties at each other homes for away games, walking around Ames with no hassles, etc. One big family I remember reading. I will have to find it.
No.Since hyperventilating & speculation is the theme: I am hearing (seriously) that big money donors are pressuring Barta to clean house. Would CMC be on Iowa’s list?
This... times 10 And the Goophers will fall for it.Fleck's agent will milk the Goophers for all it's worth.
Iowa's first 3 call would be Bob Stoops, Mark Stoops, and Bret Bielema. And I don't think they would even need all 3 calls.Since hyperventilating & speculation is the theme: I am hearing (seriously) that big money donors are pressuring Barta to clean house. Would CMC be on Iowa’s list?

bob wouldn't go. You think Mark would?Iowa's first 3 call would be Bob Stoops, Mark Stoops, and Bret Bielema. And I don't think they would even need all 3 calls.
Honestly. Any power 5 program with a vacancy that doesn't seriously consider him is missing an opportunity.
Say what you want about Coach Prime, but he's a marketing machine and will have the NIL dollars pouring in wherever he goes.
Hopefully your marriage is better than number 4 having to happen. If she has to choose you every day because she is considering others, you got issues.Think of this whole CMC speculation as if you’re a man that happens to be married to a beautiful woman:
1. You know everyone wishes they had her.
2. Nobody understands why she is married to you.
3. You have to give her the best you have every day.
4. She has to choose you everyday.
Everybody wants a great coach like CMC and that’s why his name comes up constantly…and nobody thinks we deserve to have him at our school.
I believe JP is doing everything in his power to retain CMC. So when people want to get on here and gripe about Manning or our coaches, maybe you should think twice and not criticize our coaches (especially while the game is being played). Speak positive about our coaches- they have thick skin, but I’m sure they notice all the hate/support they get from fans and it does matter. Appreciate them- good times and bad.
Ultimately, CMC has to pick us every time a job comes up with his name on it. As long as those things continue to happen, we have nothing to worry about.
