A lot of comments over the past several years here are stuck in a time warp on QB mechanics. Now they are talking about Hunter's throwing motion. A lot of misinformation out there.

Please read the attached and there are many other articles available via search. These new styles have all been driven in the past 20 years as the game has evolved. Aaron Rodgers has been a key contributor.

Sometimes throwing side arm, back footed, hopping and throwing across your body are the correct throws. Ball speed, quicker releases, smaller spaced targets can all be improved with these types of throwing motions.

Do you think our coaches are not aware?

Dekkers throwing motion is fine. Occasionally he’ll rip a sidearm throw especially on quick hitters or if he needs to change his arm angle to squeeze a ball somewhere. Not comparing him to Mahomes or Rodgers, but they do similar things.

His biggest mistakes vs toe seemed to be of the “just shouldn’t have thrown that ball” or miscommunication w receiver variety, rather than mechanics.

The one int was into tight double coverage and he called it idiotic himself in postgame.

Just because you can make all the throws doesn't mean you should try to make all of the throws. That's all he needs to learn.

The 'traditional' QB throw takes eons compared to how fast they get it there now and secondaries would be on it with no issue.

Dekkers completes a bunch of 3rd downs on 'the drive' against what's supposed to be a tough defense and people are 'CONCERNS!!!!'.
