I noticed those poles in A2. Also notices the electrical connection port at the bottom was open and covered with electrical tape. Didn't know it was 5G but good to know. I don't thing my phone is 5G compatible so I'm screwed again.

What if I told you that with a modern internet-enabled cellular device (with service that works) that you could not only watch the Cyclone game in front of you, but also quickly locate other friends and family members at the very same game without having to leave your stadium seat and walk around aimlessly hunting them down and missing the actual game, or text a family member to change the food order while they’re waiting in a 20-minute concessions line, check scores to celebrate other rivalry and conference opponent games with your fellow Cyclone fans around you without being the weird (awesome) guy wearing large antisocial am/fm radio headphones, and you can do all of this while still talking to those all those beautiful humans sitting right next to you in person. #multitasking
Have Verizon, was able to check scores on the browser and send/receive texts (including with pictures) during the game, would sometimes take a couple of attempts.
Back in the day there weren’t 3:10 tv breaks after every change in possession. I don’t blame people for wanting to check on other games or whatever while waiting.
Verizon customer. Outside the stadium during tailgating seemed better or at least no worse than it’s been. Inside the stadium was a total blackout. Worse than it’s ever been before. But once we left the stadium, it got better again.
I have verizon, I had the same experience of better coverage outside stadium but blackout inside.
Curious if it is different for 5G vs non 5G. What do you guys have. Im still using a non 5g phone wondering if its those that have a 5g phone that are seeing better coverage inside stadium.
Been thinking about upgrading. Would like to know what the different users experienced.
I have an iPhone 13 for what it’s worth. I could see where a newer phone might make some difference (antenna hardware, software, access to 5g, etc).
I have a IPhone 13, it was trash inside the stadium. Im in the bottom rows of the lower bowl.
I have Verizon 5G and it was worthless.
I have US Cellular and did not have good coverage for most of the game. Texts were going through, but I couldn't get scores on the CBS Sports or ESPN apps. Does anyone have a good app that has no bells or whistles that might possibly load scores better? Or could the stadium staff possibly figure out that no one gives a **** about games that happened earlier in the week/day and mostly we want the scores of the Big 12 games and the Iowa game. I swear I saw the East Carolina score 500 times yesterday.

USCell was slow, but it worked. Last year it was zero, didnt load anything ever all game long.
So i would say its much better, at lesst for USCell.
