Beginning of the game my US Cellular service was horrible. Somewhere in late 1st half it improved and after that it was the best I can ever remember. Never tried streaming but twitter worked normal and I could easily look up game scores.US Cellular here. It was night and day better for me this year. No issues and I was even able to stream games during breaks.
You could say that about literally every expense at the stadium.Verizon and jack squat was working from about 10am on.
And I don't think people realize how expensive in stadium wifi is to be used 7 days each year. Very poor bang for the AD buck.
US Cell here. Really struggled to look up scores on ESPN app. I should have tried Twitter .Beginning of the game my US Cellular service was horrible. I have Verizon and just switched to a business account which is supposed to give me "priority data access". After yesterday I would say that is false.Did anybody have better service? I've got Verizon service....not good.
I’m a business customer and my texts took about 4-5 minutes to go through. I text my kid next to me to check and that is how long it took him to get it. He’s on my business plan. Others were delayed because NW texted me that we lost our shutout, I got it after the field goal. Had to smart remark back to him anyhow. Which he probably got sometime during halftime.Verizon data was non-existent after 11, but texting without images worked fine for me talking to my son in the student section I'm a business customer though so they supposedly prioritize my line.
just let me be able to pull up espn app and check stats during the game.
and other games.
I couldn’t get any service in the grass lots…My service with Verizon was noticeably better outside the stadium. Inside it was pretty much the same as always.
I noticed there are a lot of new towers throughout the tailgate lots, so I'm assuming this was targeting usage outside of the stadium. If that's the case I would say it was moderately effective.
Old man yells at cloud…Somehow we used to live without these phones. I hope the wifi never improves around the Jack. Watch the game...not your phone.
I disagree with that. Some of the changes have lead to revenue collection. It's only 7 Saturdays each year but it's spend money to make money. There is zero return on a WiFi project. You could say that about literally every expense at the stadium.
