The point of it is the bass and beat from the song gets the place rocking, so even if you play the clean version, the crowd noise and acoustics drown out the words. College kids love it, and student sections are arguably the loudest part of an arena or stadium, in which the rest of the crowd feeds off of.
Here's the stadium version. Honestly a good edit where half of the song isn't muted out.

Lol I get getting crowds hyped, but this is objectively horrible music. I actually don't get how this gets a crowd going. It's a crappy lullaby with a bad singer.
So are most songs that are played in stadiums to pump up crowds.... but some definitely work.
Just as there are some AMAZING songs that would be horrible at getting a crowd pumped up.

It's turned into a fun tradition, but it is a corny ass song. The students have really got to stop that dorky dance.
