I would bet last year's UNLV would be favored, possibly by double digits, over this SEMO team. I understand people are worried with our first game history, but I don't think they're taking into account the level of competition.

Barring a Drake-esque snowstorm and performance, I think we win comfortably.

No doubt when the line comes out, I'll be putting money on SEMO to cover. Until ISU actually comes out the first game not looking like it's the first time they've put on pads, the game is going to be closer than we'd like.

I've been saying this for years. Find the worst FCS team you can get and pay them to come to Ames. We don't need to subsidize UNI's program and their extra motivation to play us doesn't help. ISU doesn't need tested in Game 1, they need to figure out what they have and what they need to improve on.

Yes. Easily. 4-7 last year in the worst scholarship FCS league. Lost to Southern Illinois (5th in the Valley last year) by 4 scores.
