I wasn't sure they would find a partner for him but glad they did, glad more for him than the long shot prospect they got. He was awful in NY (at the plate, still a great fielder). As much as I wanted an upgrade I was feeling bad for him, especially after reading some of his recent comments. This works out about as well as it could. Yanks are still in first place and he gets to move to another 1st place team.
Posted this in Cards thread but thought it would be of interest to MLB fans in general. Pretty cool of Card fans, and Molina giving Matt and the fans a moment.
Dodgers telling the Padres this series you may have made the flashy moves at the trade deadline but we are still the big dogs.
LA 30-5 last 35 games, according to MLB radio. Love sweeping SD.
Damnit. Matt Carpenter fractured bones in his left foot tonight. Since making it back to the majors with the Yanks at the end of May he was hitting .305 with 15 HR and 37 RBI and forced his way into being a regular again. Great comeback story until it went to **** tonight. 
Man, another tough break, was watched the earlier game when he broke his finger on the comebacker. Some guys are having some bad luck this season.
At least it is his RIGHT wrist and he is a lefty so shouldn't set him back for next year.Yanks are 7-13 over last 20 games and sucking wind. Not Judges fault, dudes hot hot hot. Think he will break homerun record for non-juiced cheaters (Maris and Ruth as opposed to Bonds/Sosa/McGuire). Lucky the Jays have been cold or half their lead would be gone. They still might blow that lead if Jays start playing better.
I cut back on my Yankee MLB viewing quite a bit after the All-Star break and have pretty much stopped watching all together since the trade deadline. I don't get as emotionally engaged in sports as I used to and if it ain't fun than I just don't watch. Has had me scrambling for evening entertainment to stream, lotto Netflix this month!
Stuff still creeps into my Twitter feed and this reply tot he Yanks posting their lineup for today made me LOL. Gotta give the Yankee official Twitter account peeps credit for not blocking and allowing the fan venting. Gotta turn on the sound. Note: one f-bomb but not a profane tirade. If you are going to vent, put some work into it.
