Pretty sure I heard a “go hawks” in there. They have to be ******** everywhere they go.

Could you imagine, as an adult, being in this situation and a former Hawk strolled by and feeling the overwhelming urge to say "Go Cyclones"? Like, the dude is entering his 5th year in the NFL and is likely WR1 for your favorite NFL team. How fragile of a person.

Being an Iowa fan is their only identity and personality. It's sad.

I see it more as done in fun. In fact I've been known to walk up to total strangers that are wearing Bears gear and ask if they lost a bet?

watched this multiple times. it's the dude in blue, masked up, taking a photo. Can't tell, but by the way he was shooting, looked almost like professional media.

was nice and confident and waited til Lazard was past him to say it over his shoulder too :)

Wow, that skinny kid has turned into a grown ass man.

Definitely a man and a great football player..... but he's still quite skinny..... for a college level DE anyway. He's a DE living in a LB'ers body. Actually he's kinda skinny for a college level LB too honestly.

No joke.

Last summer my wife and I went hiking across the Kilauea Iki trail in Hawaii with some friends. I was wearing an ISU hat. We crossed paths with maybe 10 other people the entire hike. You would think that being in the middle of a remote volcano crater in Hawaii, we would be safe from having to hear a "Go Hawks", but we were not. Sadly, morons are everywhere.
I *might* be able to one up you. 6 years ago now I went on a mission trip to Kenya. One of the days we were walking around a market and walking by a group of people I hear "Go Hawks!" I was actually in disbelief. Turned out they were an extremely nice family but still couldn't even escape it in Africa

I got it in Mexico too.

But really the saddest part of Hawaii wasn't the Iowa fans. It was people eating at Denny's.

Island full of amazing food and they need a grand slam breakfast.....jeesh

They truly believe they are the center of the sports universe.

Given that Lazard is from Urbandale and about as humble and easy to root for as anybody, you'd think they could keep their mouth shut for 10 seconds. But nope, it's always gotta be about them.

To be fair, that IS the Florida experience, depending on where you are.

Also, if you have young kids, eating somewhere fast and familiar is worth it.
