The difference would be that the Big Ten would require ND to split the revenue equally. If ND gets 75M for just their football programming, they will be pretty close to Big Ten revenues and will be able to maintain their independence.
What's the tv ratings for Notre Dame vs Navy?

That question goes way beyond my knowledge.

Short-term, it probably doesn't matter that much to ND as long as they get their new TV contract.

Long term, ND does need to maintain their TV ratings for the next TV contract.

Agree that if ND gets $75 mil/year as an independent they'll go with that. An uneven revenue share as a full member of the ACC still won't get them anywhere near the $100 mil/year they'd get with an equal revenue split in the B1G.

There’s no way in my opinion the B12 is adding SDSU.

If Yormark has convinced the PAC12 B12 is a threat to go after SDSU forcing them to add them/spit the pie then he’s the right Comish for us. 3D chess.

THIS explains the CSU interest. ****, is it too late to consider Utah St?

Let’s see the PAC add two Cal St schools in SDSU and Fresno. That should feel good for Cal and Stanford.

Any more Big 12 rejects they can add? So much for the PAC being above our G5 additions, it’s just they prefer to avoid the top ones

Yeah:
$75M from NBC
$15M from ACC
$10M from Bowl, Ads, licenses etc.

Gets to $100M Range. My guess they will stay with that as long as they believe they will still have access to games, bowls, playoffs, etc as they need.

To do that NBC though, needs to make sure the few games they get with ND is worth that much for them alone. That is a big jump from where they currently are at.

At 7 home games that's almost 11m to broadcast each game, and a few of those will be stinkers. Like this year they will have Marshall and UNLV that will be NBC games.

Honestly with how ridiculous Utah is being, we should just skip right over them and take SDSU to get in to SoCal and call it good. We already have BYU.

F that. Go for UW at that point. I think they are a rung below Oregon in the pecking order and aren’t as attractive as everyone seems to think.

UW I think is more valuable than Oregon honestly. I'm just saying if we're going hopefully 4 + 2, have SDSU be one of the 4.
