Small addition but large grizzlies and polar bears can be over 1000 lbs.

That's terrifying enough.

And then there's Tyrannosaurus estimated between 11,000 and 15,000 pounds.

That's roughly a male African elephant but with a bite that can crush an elephant's femur.

Of the known fossil record, the Jurassic Park raptors most closely resemble Utahraptor.

Utahraptor was basically the grizzly bear of its age. It was about 6' tall, 18' long, and weighed 600+ pounds, which is about what a big male grizzly bear you might meet in Alaska weighs.

They also lived in North America. Velociraptor is a Mongolian/Chinese import.

100 pounds of those teeth and claws sounds bad enough, but imagine 600 pounds of them.

And velociraptors were apparently smaller and more bird like with feathers included.

Either way, watching the O.G. JP now I wouldn't argue with Laura Dern getting taken out by one when she's running between buildings toward the end.

Is that mean? Yes.

Is she over acting and more annoying with time?

Both can be true.

Wasn't McDermott also responsible for the financial crash in 2008 and global warming?

Don't be confused, he had nothing to do with the current climate change crisis.

88 degrees out in May, man it's hot out!! Global warming, Greg's still screwing us over.
What McDoormat was responsible for was taking a successful program, completely sucking the life out of it, and basically burning it down to the ground.

His teams here for the most part were awful. And the ones that had some actual talent underachieved in large part because of his coaching.

The Wes Johnson stuff was disgraceful on McD's part. He didn't even know when WJ left campus here. How does a head coach not know this about his star player? And his cluelessness with regards to Harrison Barnes was also laughable.

He might be a likable guy, I don't know. And he's definitely improved as a head coach since going to Creighton. I will give him credit for that. He's changed his approach in some ways to good effect.

But his time at ISU was at best unremarkable and at worst, simply unwatchable basketball.

Let it go. That was over 10 years ago. We've had 3 coaches since then. If you want to focus on the past- remember Johnny, Tim, Larry and Fred. Hell, Wayne's teams were fun to watch.
