Tyrese Hunter Entering the Transfer Portal - NIL Speculation

It really gets old listening to how he has to do this because he had a tough time. My mother left me when I was 5. I miss not having her to this day but we have to live our lives with what is dealt us. Character shows through eventuality.

Rumors that Texas stud commit who is a PG might be asking out of his LOI now lol
That just seems like a bad choice for Tyrese. At least pick a school and coach known for developing PGs.

Going to Texas doesn’t make much sense as far as basketball goes. Obviously $$ is involved here but this is a weird move.

Definitely threatened by the A&M pay for play plan. Look for Texa$ to keep the NIL $'s flowing like the black gold down there. Absolutely a crap school to go to if you are a PG though...

Then, why post?
It’s curious, isn’t it?

Back to Hunter, and taking away the emotional piece of him leaving Iowa State, I don’t understand a move to Texas. I mean…at all.

As @CyPunch mentions, Texas already has Marcus Carr this season as well. Carr is a decent shooter, but it’s not as though he torches the nets from deep. Would they move Carr off the ball? Can’t imagine he’s a SG at the next level.

Obviously Texas has money to throw around, and I’m sure I’m missing something, but it seems like an odd basketball fit.

Plus Carr is a very ball dominant PG and I can’t imagine he’d be fine with giving up some of his duties. Idk, very weird. Certainly doesn’t help his case that this decision wasn’t based on money.

Maybe he surprises everyone and goes to Purdue or Tennessee.

I’ve seen Louisville people say they haven’t been talking for a while.

Carr was exposed in the Big 12 once he actually played good defenses. I know he looked awful in Hilton.

Hunter supposedly to make announcement today. Just make it already.Tired of this. If Hunter’s new team returns to Hilton,it would be quite the reception.

man that is a curious basketball decision....had to be a better option as far as money and basketball sense....he will prob be fine, but this could really backfire on him, lot more risk that I would be willing to take

Salty he didn't pick your jayhawks? In your defense, it would of actually made more sense from a basketball perspective.

Big brother Hunter is calling the shots here. Was the one shopping him around from the beginning. At least there is no question as to what drove his transfer now. Tyrese was always about chasing the immediate payday. Which is his decision to make - we'll see how it works out for him.
