My sources are telling me that we have one assistant who has been frequenting AJ's family home the last 13 months. Promising if true

My source said NCAA may look into the situation since our assistant had been paying AJs cell phone bill the last 5 years. Could be in for compliance issues .

If we get Green and Vander Plas, it would definitely take the sting off of surprisingly losing Hunter. This is only 11 scholarship players too; there would still be 1-2 more spots to fill, whether that's Gabe returning for a 5th year or adding Basile, Abogidi from Wazzu, Souley Boum from UTEP, or another name not yet in the portal.

Even without AJ Green. Vastly improving the 4-5 spots goes a long way

True, and besides that...reporter Bain said from the 'get-go' that he would test the waters and maybe there's the possiblility of a transfer but it wouldn't be ISU. I'm not hanging my hat on just one source, but I'm also not expecting him here at all.....so at least I'll be the happiest surprised fan if he does.
Maybe at the time it was "not ISU" that was a real thing Bain was hearing. But there's been a bit of a development that seems logical that it changed that.

"We landed on the moon" is information that is out everywhere and you are a fool for not know it. You aren't helping your cause trying to denigrate the plebs who don't pay for premium.

Maybe his 'we landed on the moon' reference is that this is already a done deal. :)

I’m giving my money to NIL deals. Getting players is more important to me than finding out ten minutes earlier than everyone else that we got that player
I think it would be naive to think that funding and supporting CF wouldn't lead to NIL deals for athletes in a way that also has its own perqs for the users.

I dont know why, but for me, I feel better about giving indirectly to NIL than directly to the players. It feels closer to what the NIL court ruling was supposed to accomplish rather than pay for play withoug any regulation. I may be in the minority here, however.

Remember when Rhoads got busted by the NCAA because some entry level staffer was calling recruits after nappy time or whatever??....good times.
